It is possible for a Customer to reset their own password by using the Forgotten Password link on the Login Screen. This requires a valid Customer email address and a valid Email Configuration. In the event that the Customer is unable to successfully reset their own password then an Administrator can reset the Customer password on their behalf.
There are two options to reset a Customers account password:
- Automatic reset and send password via Email – Navigate to the Customers page and view the customers “Overview” page. At the top of the page are several buttons including “RESET & MAIL PASSWORD”. This function will automatically generate a secure password for the Customer and send an email to their email address with the new password.
- Manual reset of password – Alternatively the Customer password can be changed by selecting the MANAGE button on the Customers Listing page or “Manage Account Details” on the Customer Overview page. Simply enter the new password with a confirmation then press Save.
