Live & TV Channels are capable of using the 30 Minute Rewind feature to record a live stream while simultaneously enabling viewers that join the live stream in-progress to rewind the live stream and use playback controls in their player to watch the stream.
This is a great way to allow more flexible viewing, enhance engagement, and allow viewers to review missed moments.
Setting up 30 Minute Rewind
This section provides the basic steps for setting up and configuring a Channel with 30 Minute Rewind.
30 Minute Rewind will need to be enabled on your Cloud Plan by your administrator and enabled in your Channel. Once enabled viewers will be able to rewind and playout up to 30 minutes of the current live stream.
Note
30 Minute Rewind uses more bandwidth, consider disabling this feature to reduce bandwidth usage.
