Stream watermarking relies on the new stream transcoding feature, embedding the watermark directly onto the transcoded stream.

Availability
Stream Watermarking is available only in some plans as outlined on our pricing website. First check to ensure your plan supports Stream Transcoding.

File Requirements
In order for the best experience, these format requirements are recommended.
- Must be a PNG file, the PNG format supports alpha transparency, which is required for overlays
- Use a smaller resolution image around 400 pixels tall.
- Ideal PNG format is 32-bit PNG (RGBA) with an alpha channel
- Transparent areas should remain transparent
- Avoid black backgrounds
- Opacity is applied only to visible pixels
Activating Stream Watermark
Stream Transcoding can be enabled on each Channel through the Channel Configuration dialog,
Before activating, the Channel must first have Stream Transcoding enabled.
- Navigate to the Channel where you wish to enable Stream Watermarking
- Click on the Configuration icon next to the channel name
- Ensure the Stream Transcoding option is checked
- Navigate to the Watermark tab
- Upload your PNG file and select the opacity and placement
- Select Save and the watermark will appear on the next stream or after restarting the channel
