Stream link downloading instead of playing in browser

On Shoutcast 2 you may find that opening stream links results in browser downloads instead of playing in the browser. This comes down to the stream format and browser support/default behavior. When streaming in AAC format most browsers will initiate a download, where MP3 will stream in the browser. To work around this, you can use our player to allow AAC playback in the browser or change the live encoder/AutoDJ to stream MP3 instead. We have a detailed guide for managing mountpoints available in our Audio Broadcaster Guide - Mount Points
