Locating a stations path/directory on your system

The users directory is made up of the following:

/usr/local/mediacp/content/user_{Customer ID}/{Service Type}/{Service Port or Name}_{Service ID}/

For example:

/usr/local/mediacp/content/user_1/shoutcast2/8000_1/

You need to find the following information:

  • Customer ID
  • Service ID
  • Service Port (Audio) or Slug (Video)

Locate Customer ID

  1. Login to the MediaCP as an Administrator
  2. Navigate to the Customers page
  3. The Customer ID # is located in the first column on this page

Locate Service ID

  1. Navigate to the Service Overview page
  2. The Service ID is the last number in the URL. For example the Service ID from the following URL is 5: https://demo.mediacp.net/controller/MediaService/5

Locate Service Port (Audio Only)

  1. Navigate to the Service Overview Pgae
  2. Select Configure from the left side menu
  3. The Port (Port Base) is listed in the General Tab
