Perpetual licenses are available for life-time (of the product) usage. It will always be possible to install the Media Control Panel with your Perpetual License, even if your Support & Upgrades package has expired.
Once the Support & Upgrades package expires:
- Product Support - You will no longer be able to receive support from our technical team through our help desk. Our support team will ask you to renew the support and upgrades before providing any assistance.
- Software Upgrades - It will not be possible to update the Media Control Panel software.
- New Installation - New installations will automatically install the most recent LTS version of the Media Control Panel. It is not possible to install from the Stable or Latest branches.
How can I upgrade the MediaCP to the latest version
First you must renew the Support & Upgrades for another 12 months.
How much does it cost to renew Support & Upgrades?
The cost of Support & Upgrades renewal is available on the website Pricing page underneath the One-Time option for either the Audio or Video Control Panel depending on your perchase.
What happens if I pay for an upgrade service?
If you have purchased an upgrade service however your support & upgrades package is expired, the MediaCP support team will be unable to upgrade your software and will instead refund the amount for the service.
