This error means the stream could not be loaded, the most common reasons for this include:

Generally you can identify common issues with the following steps:

  1. Open Google Console and reload the page.
  2. Open Console and it should display any major issues for the playlist.m3u8 file: 


  1. 404 Not Found generally means the stream is not created or not streaming.
  2. You can right click the link and open in new tab to check for further problem.


If the problem persists:

  1. Restart Wowza Streaming Engine.
  2. Check StreamLock or Wowza AutoSSL Certificate, reinstall Wowza AutoSSL if required /root/init autossl-wse.
  3. Disable all Transcoder profiles (including Passthru) and nDVR features.
  4. Restart the service and try again.
